Appointments: CLB Coopers; Cleardebt; Lanway & more

NORTH West accountancy firm CLB Coopers has appointed partner David Clift as the managing partner of its Manchester office.

The appointment will allow managing partner David Travis to concentrate on growth and developing additional opportunities for the firm and its clients.
 
CLB Coopers, which has offices in Bolton and Lancaster saw  fee income rise by 9% in the year to March 31.

Mr Travis said: ““Despite peoples’ concerns over the economy, we and our clients continue to see many opportunities for further, profitable growth. Over the year we have made several senior appointments and continue to look for high quality people.”

TIMPERLEY-based debt management firm Cleardebt has announced that its chief operating officer Simom Lee as a director of its plc board.

Mr Lee, 35, has been acting as chief operating officer at the firm for over 12 months and has been in regular attendance at board meetings.

Cleardebt chief executive David Mond said:  “We are delighted to welcome Simon as a director of ClearDebt and congratulate him for all his hard work and endevours over the years.”

IT services provider, Lanway, has appointed of David Holt as head of sales.
 
Mr Holt joins the Burnley company from Equanet, where he was head of sales in the south.

He said: “The growth plans at Lanway are incredibly exciting. We’re looking to capitalise on our focused, sector-specific structure, driving the contracts and services element of the business, and have set ourselves a 25% profit increase to aim at.

“It’s important for me to be in a dynamic environment with its sights on success, and I’m looking forward to being part of Lanway in the years to come.”

STOCKPORT building services design engineers, S I Sealy & Associates has announced three promotions.

Chris Crookes has moved up from associate director to become electrical technical director and Daniel Madden and Matthew Pickford have become associate directors.

MACCLESFIELD branding agency Vibe has hired Graham Robinson as digital marketing manager.

Former operations and creative director at First Internet Marketing Mr Robinson has also worked for Hale-based Peppermint Digital.
