Preferred celebrates Coronation Street win
PREFERRED Spaces, the Sale-based fit-out contractor is celebrating two significant wins – worth a total of £2.5m.
Both are at high profile locations – the new Trafford base for the nation’s favourite soap opera, Coronation Street – and the other at Manchester Airport.
The family-owned company has been awarded the general fit-out works package for the new Coronation Street project for ITV at Trafford Wharf Road.
The project was won via competitive tender and will involve all aspects of fit out in the six new buidlings and will be 36 weeks on site.
The airport contract, the latest in a series of work for Manchester Airport Group, is wortjh £500,000 and is for two design and build office projects totalling 112,000sq ft at a new learning and development centre and a car park control block.
