Blemain moves to Cheadle

BLEMAIN Group is to move from its offices in Manchester city centre to new space at Cheadle Royal Business Park.

The firm has taken 50,000 sq ft over three floors of space at Lake View and will relocate from its current city centre premises in Manchester in September.

The company is part of Jerrold Holdings – a bridging loans business owned byfounder Henry Moser alongisde minority shareholder Barclays Private Equity.

It has been based in its current building at Bracken House on Charles St in Manchester for 20 years. It started by occupying two floors with 25 staff and now has 340 people on all seven available floors within the eight-storey building.

In the year to June 30, 2011 the company’s sales dropped by 4% to £130.3m while pre-tax profits fell by 11% to £39.1m.

The Cheadle-basMarc Goldberg of Blemain Grouped building offers room for expansion, providing 60% more floorspace than its existing offices, Blemain Group said. It added that the building provided a much-improved working environment for staff and easy car parking  close to major motorways.

Commercial director Marc Goldberg (left) said: “We are very excited about the move. We have outgrown our current premises and need more space. Lake View at Cheadle Royal offers this and all the new modern office facilities associated with it.”
