Park to launch digital rewards product

PARK Group has announced a deal with a US firm which will allow it to add digital gift cards to its product range.

The Birkenhead-company, which also provides Christmas hamper saving schemes, is teaming up with the Giftango Corporation for its digital versions of its Love2reward and Love2shop rewards and incentive products.

Park said its flex e-gift digital gift card will be rolled out to its 6,000 corporate clients. This will allow a digital version of its popular flexecash product to be delivered via email and SMS on smart phones.

Giftango will securely deliver the flex e-gift card in real-time and customers will receive a fully personalized digital gift card, including card number, security number and expiry date via email and SMS.

The digital gift cards can be printed from a PC, or displayed at the point of sale on consumers’ smart phones at the time of redemption.  

Expected to launch toward the end of this summer, the flex e-gift cards can also be branded with each company’s corporate identity and include personalized messages.

Park’s chief executive Chris Houghton said: “This latest development represents the next step for Park as we continue to drive innovation and improve further the ways we can service our customers.

“We have invested in our IT systems and taking our products online, in response to what our customers are telling us and this latest development shows how scalable and flexible our offerings now are.

“This will give businesses a cost-effective and simple way to incentivise staff and reward customer loyalty, in times when cash conservation is at its most important, whilst the personalised messages will also make customers and staff feel more valued.”
