Byotrol ‘maintains momentum’

BUG busting company Byotrol has said it continues to make encouraging progress and has maintained the momentum seen in the second half of last year.

The Daresbury-based company, which has an anti-microbial product that it licenses to manufacturers of cleaning and hygiene ranges, added that negotiations with its Fortune 150 consumer market partner remain on track to deliver a full commercial agreement.

Product launches in conjunction with Rentokil Initial Plc have been successful and the resulting order flow is encouraging, it added.
The company posted a pre-tax loss of £2.8m for the year to March 31 on sales of under £2m.

Ahead of the annual general meeting today, chairman Ralph Kugler said the company  was well positioned to achieve its objective of positive cash generation “at the earliest opportunity”.

He added: “The board of Byotrol remains optimistic about the prospects for the business and looks forward to updating the market further in due course.”
