In Brief: UAP TradeLocks sponsors Leeds Utd stand; Cobbetts acts on first Adidas by Stella McCartney store;

MANCHESTER-based door security products importer UAP TradeLocks has signed an agreement to become the official south stand sponsor of Leeds United.

The new agreement will see the UAP brand adorn the mid fascia of the stand along with the complete front fascia of the south stand roof stand. The UAP brand name will also appear on the exterior of the south stand, directly overlooking the busy Elland Road both on match days and non-match days. 

David Jennings, managing director of UAP TradeLocks said: “This new sponsorship deal enables us to promote the UAP TradeLocks message to the millions of Leeds fans on a worldwide basis, and promote our brand values to the football community throughout the country.”    

Shaun Harvey, Leeds United chief executive, said: “The south stand sponsorship provides a highly visible marketing platform within the stadium for UAP to promote their brand to our supporter base and we look forward to working with their marketing team.”

THE Manchester real estate team at law firm Cobbetts has acted for Adidas UK on the opening of the first Adidas by Stella McCartney high street store in the UK.
 
The unit is situated next door to Stella McCartney’s own store on Fulham Road, London, alongside other retailers such as Chanel and Ralph Lauren, and the department store Harrods.
 
A spokesperson from adidas UK said: “Our relationship with Cobbetts and their experience in advising us on our UK retail property portfolio was crucial in this transition, which is unique for the adidas brand in the UK.”

Naveen Gupta, head of the Manchester real estate team at Cobbetts, said: “It is a pleasure to be involved in the collaboration between two iconic brands; Stella McCartney and adidas.”
