Car dealer BCC Group revs up with investment

GREATER Manchester car dealership group BCC Motor Group is investing £150,000 in its Hyundai showroom in Bolton.

The £54m turnover group based in Bury, which has nine dealerships in the North West, has recently renewed a 15-year lease on the Bolton site, and plans to give it a comprehensive refurbishment.

BCC will extend the showroom by 1,000 sq ft allowing it to display the full range of Hyundai’s models. The refurbishment is expected to be complete by mid-September.

Owner Mike Holt, said “The launch of the refurbished showroom will mark over 30 year’s commitment from BCC to Bolton and will re-confirm our position as one of Hyundai’s top five dealerships in the UK.

“Hyundai is a major player in the market with clear objectives to re-affirm growth with its leading range of innovative and exciting models”.
 
BCC was advised on the lease extension by Bolton-based law firm KBL.
Property associate Stephen Bell said: “The renewal lease of the Bolton site marks a further stage of BCC’s ongoing commitment to the brand and to Bolton.”
