1,200 become seven as m-hance hires

NORTH West-based business software group m-hance has hired seven graduates, after its first dedicated recruitment scheme attracted more than 1,200 applications.
The company, created in November 2011 after the acquisition of a number of businesses by IT entrepreneur Mark Thompson, has its headquarters in Stockport and a total of 230 staff spread across a bumber of locations in the UK, Ireland, the US and India.
It provides business software solutions, such as HR and payroll and CRM to 2,400 mid-market organisations including Innocent Drinks, the Rugby Football Union and waste management company
The successful graduates are: Ben Watt, Danielle Viggars, Dominic Kohler, Jonathan McGee, Jonathon Bathurst, Kamwing Cheng and Kate Clifford. All will be based in Stockport across the product development, marketing, consulting, finance, sales and business planning departments.
Chief executive Mark Thompson, said: “Recruiting, developing and retaining talented graduates is key to our success and future growth.
“They did exceptionally well to stand out from a huge number of similarly ambitious applicants and chose to progress their careers with m-hance in spite of receiving interest from other companies.
“Our new graduates will be encouraged to contribute and execute fresh ideas to take the business forward, whilst being given early authority and responsibility as part of their ongoing career journey with us.”
m-hance’s graduate scheme has been developed in partnership with specialist recruitment firm, Discovery Graduates. In addition to being given permanent full-time positions, m-hance’s new graduate recruits will also receive in-house support from a dedicated m-hance mentor and regular offsite training.
