BAM lined up for City’s Etihad Campus

BAM Construction is understood to have won the £100m job to build a new training complex, known as the Etihad Campus, for Manchester City.
The 80-acre site close to the club’s stadium in east Manchester will include a 7,000-seat arena as well as player and youth accommodation.
There will also be a media centre, 12 full-size and two half-size football pitches, an Institute for Sports Medicine, and a new 600-place sixth-form college for use by the local community.
BAM, which was up against Carillion, Laing O’Rourke and Bowmer & Kirkland, declined to discuss the contract but confirmed it was the preferred bidder.
