Kilsaran eyes UK growth from Manchester HQ
IRISH concrete products manufacturer Kilsaran International has set up a new office in Manchester to drive UK sales.
Kilsaran manufactures paving, walling and pre-mixed concrete products and has its own quarries in Ireland.
It has taken space at Trafford Park for a showrom and an office which employs around five staff.
Director Derry McKeown said: “Our aim is to build a strong supplier network with local builder’s merchants and trade professionals, as well as build on relationships with architects, contractors, civil engineers and local authorities.
“We have been exporting to the UK for over two years now and we felt now was the right time to expand our team to realise our ambitions for sustainable growth within the UK.”
Founded in 1964 by the McKeown family, it is the largest independent concrete products manufacturer in Ireland, with annual sales of £60m and 300 staff.
