Carer Home Instead to recruit 50 staff

A MACCLESFIELD-based home care firm is planning to recruit 50 carers.

Home Instead Senior Care, which specialises in caring for the elderly in their own homes, was founded in the US and now operates throughout the world through franchise agreements.

The Macclesfield operation has taken on Alison Light as a new recruitment co-ordinator to handle the expansion.

She said: “It’s a fantastic business with a hardworking, caring ethos, the team are all passionate about caring for older people and I want to make sure that they have the support they need, whilst encouraging new people to consider and take up a caring role, which is just so rewarding.”
