Argent backs food and drink festival

DEVELOPER Argent is sponsoring the Manchester Food and Drink Festival for the 10th successive year.

The group is also offering the festival management team 1,000 sq ft of space at its Hive development in the Northern Quarter.

Now in its 15th year the festival takes place from September 21 to October 8.

The centrepiece will be the “Festival Hub” on Albert Square which will feature hundreds of events, brews, wines, street food traders, ciders, cocktails and musicians.

Argent project director Angela Fielding said: “Manchester Food and Drink Festival is a great asset to Manchester, and we at Argent are really proud of our long-term relationship with the event and the team behind it.
