Virtalis spreads its wings with German office

VIRTUAL reality company Virtalis has opened its second overseas office.
The Sale-based company which operates across a variety of market sectors, ranging from automotive and aerospace to retailers and military, has opened an office near Dusselforf.
It has appointed experienced industry player Michaela Dierking as the first employee of the new subsidiary, Virtalis GmbH. The German office in Moers is the company’s second base outside the UK – it already has a base in Ohio.
Managing director David Cockburn-Price said, “We are delighted to be forging ahead with this new venture. Michaela has accumulated a wealth of expertise and contacts during her decade in the industry and we are confident we have found the right person to present the Virtalis offering to the German market.”
Michaela Dierking added: “Virtalis’ integration between VR hardware and software is what will mark the company out from its competitors in Germany.
“The market is growing and we can prove the real savings that are generated from using advanced visualisation technology. Ten years ago, the only organisations investing in VR were the big corporations, now it is their tier one and tier two suppliers, as well as universities educating the next generation of engineers”.
Next month Virtalis will be showcasing its products and capabilities at a major international event in the US.
It is hosting a Virtual Reality Theater at the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago.
IMTS is one of the largest industrial trade shows in the world, with more than 1,800 exhibitors and 82,000 visitors. The Virtalis Virtual Reality Theater will allow attendees to experience the power of the relationship between design, manufacture and data.
