CTMS to manage Sharp Project

POST-Production specialist Creative and Technical Media Services has won the contract to manage The Sharp Project media facility in east Manchester.

The Manchester-based business owns the post-production business Arc Creative and 422, as well as Northstar Television and broadcast support firm IPIT.

It will take over the day-to-day running of the site on October 1 from Rose Marley Management which has been doing the job on an interim basis.

CTMS has been working with the Sharp Project for the past year supplying IT management services. A statement said its management team had experience with infrastructure projects and managing facilities in Holland, Scandinavia, Poland and India.

Sharp Project director Sue Woodward said: “With a full year’s operation with the interim management company under our belt, a pretty full order book for the production stages and more than 70% of the office space filled, the business is in good shape.

“Running it efficiently and keeping The Sharp Project members happy is critically important to all of us. In CTMS we have found a team that share our philosophy and commitment to making Manchester the ‘go to’ city for creative digital companies, driving forward the transformation of our sector. For tenants its business as usual.”
