HIMOR encouraged by industrial lets

HIMOR, the Newton-le-Willows-based developer, says it has attracted 15 companies to its two industrial estates since the start of the year.

The new tenants have taken a total of 20,000 sq ft at Bradley Hall Trading Estate in Standish and Engineer Park in Sandycroft, Deeside.

The companies include powder coating specialist Oxyplast UK, print firm Digital Wrap Solutions and hydroponics firm Game Changer Systems.

Head of property Paul Wrigglesworth said: “These lettings demonstrate that we are very much open for business.

“We have recently announced that we are considering re-developing the older sections of our Standish estate for housing, but one of the key drivers behind this is to allow us to invest in the retained trading estate.

“The small and medium-sized businesses are the lifeblood of the estates. For some it is their first foray into commercial property, so it is critical that we keep the process as simple and flexible as possible.”

HIMOR is owned by Will Ainscough and his father Bill, who is also the chairman and owner of Langtree and Wainhomes.
