Stockport’s CDL aims to create 150 extra jobs

STOCKPORT-based insurance software group CDL is planning to create a further 150 jobs over the next two years.

The business is to expand its Kings Reach site after acquiring four-and-a-half acres of land for around 100,000 sq ft of offices. CDL already employs 400 staff.

It has submitted plans and hopes to start work on the first 30,000 sq ft phase of the scheme early next year.

Managing director Tom Hogg said: “CDL has maintained consistent growth on the back of innovative, robust and powerful software solutions that enable clients to increase their efficiency and profitability, and we are seeing significant activity around the fast growing telematics and mobile sectors.

“We therefore felt the time was right to invest in the future and are delighted to have secured this deal, which will allow us to expand the company further on our existing site, with no relocation of staff and maximum business continuity.”
