eCorrugated boxes off investment plans

BOX maker eCorrugated says it has invested £1m to double capacity at its Ellesmere Port base.

The move will add a second production line and create eight jobs.

The business was founded by directors Andrew Carver and Paul Lavelle in October 2011.

Mr Carver said: “The response from the market has been even better than we expected and we’re moving to the next phase of our growth plan quicker than anticipated.

“Our aim is to become the UK’s largest small box manufacturer and this investment will put us firmly on that path, as we aim to more than triple turnover by 2014.”
