£6m upgrade for De Vere Mottram Hall Hotel

MOTTRAM Hall Hotel in Cheshire is undergoing a major revamp under a £6m investment programme.
The four-star De Vere Group property, which includes an 18-hole golf course, is revamping all its bedrooms, suites and executive rooms, improving its club house and restaurant facilities, and next month opening a new leisure spa, called the Mottram Club.
The new facility includes seven treatment rooms, private spa dining area, a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, a spinning and dance studio, gym, 17- metre indoor swimming pool and a ‘tranquility zone’ relaxation area.
In the main hotel, which is built around a Grade II-listed 18th Century Georgian manor house, the bedrooms will be given a contemporary new look, while LCD flat-screen TVs and free high-speed wireless will also be installed.
Mottram Hall, which has been owned by De Vere since the 1970s, is located in 270-acres of Cheshire countryside between Wilmslow and Prestbury.
The investment programme will continued in the new year with the launch of a high-tech conference facilities which will be opened in March.
