gap personnel powers up with £11m funding deal

INDUSTRIAL recruitment specialist gap personnel, is stepping-up growth plans after securing a £11m funding package.

The company which has its headquarters in Wrexham, has offices in  Blackburn, Blackpool, Burnley,Crewe, Liverpool, Preston and Warrington, has agreed the invoice discounting facility with Close Brothers Invoice Finance.

gap personnel was founded in 1997 by Gary Dewhurst and is on track to turn over £75m this year.

The funding will support gap’s working capital requirements and will be used to drive growth by further expansion.

Current clients range from multi-national organisations to SME and start-up businesses across a range of sectors including automotive, manufacturing, warehousing, waste management, recycling and food production.

The company which has more than 30 branches nationwide places up to 7,000 temporary workers per week.
