Administrators find buyer for Paddington House Hotel

WARRINGTON’S Paddington House Hotel has been sold out of administration to Buckinghamshire-based Zaman Hotels, saving 31 jobs.

The 37-bed hotel was owned by the Venture Hotels Group which went into administration in November last year. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

It also ran the Comfort Inn in Chester and the Monton House Hotel in Eccles. Onecall Hospitality has been operating the hotels while in administration.

Russell Cash, restructuring and recovery partner for Baker Tilly, said: “We are pleased to secure the future of this hotel and the on-going employment for the 31 employees working there.

“This is good news for the local economy, and also for the community who will continue to enjoy and benefit from having a thriving local business within the area.”

Zaman Hotels is owned by the Zaman family which owns and operates a number of hotels nationally.

Director Zishan Zaman said: “The Paddington House hotel is an excellent budget hotel. During these recessionary times individuals and companies are looking for affordable accommodation and wedding venues so this venue fits perfectly into our portfolio. We will honour all bookings currently at the hotel and aim to make this a perfect local hotel.”
