Law firm Asons on growth spurt after funding deal

A fast-growing North West law firm specialising in the personal injury sector has secured a funding boost to support expansion into the corporate sector.

Bolton-based Asons Solicitors, which has doubled its team to 32 in the last two years, has signed a deal with HSBC to support rapid further recruitment of another 117 staff.

Founded in 2008, the practice specialises in all types of personal injury work including clinical negligence, industrial disease, serious injury and litigation.  

Practice director Imran Akram said : “The support from HSBC will really help our business to grow; by doubling our workforce we can take the business forward in becoming a full service law firm.

“Asons will be opening a new department in 2013 within the area of corporate services, which will assist businesses in all areas ranging from employment law support to mergers and acquisitions.

The deal was led by Deborah Leach, senior commercial manager at HSBC’s commercial banking team in Manchester.
