Tony Ford to leave Ford Campbell

TONY Ford is to leave the corporate finance firm he set up co-founded 15 years ago.

In a statement, Mr Ford said he wanted to “get off the treadmill” and focus on working with growing businesses.

Chris Froggatt, Mike Driver and managing partner Neil Worsley will continue to lead Manchester-based Ford Campbell which opened a London office this year.

Aside from Ford Campell, Mr Ford is the chairman of Sandown Holdings, a non-executive at Knightsbridge Plc – an online market place for businesses – and a partner at search and selection firm Ford Hastings.

He said: “The time has come for me to get off the treadmill in order to focus on assisting one or two companies grow and develop their businesses towards exit.

“I have enjoyed every minute of my time with Ford Campbell and the business is in its best ever shape for the future. I leave behind a quality and experienced team who will remain my friends and I wish them all the best for the future.”

Mr Worsley said: “The past 18 months have seen lots of exciting initiatives come to fruition and the team is hugely energised by the current position of the business. Tony has made an enormous contribution to Ford Campbell and we wish him all the very best in his future ventures.”
