Sales continue to climb at SEO Next

FAST-growing search engine optimisation firm SEO Next says turnover has grown by 60% to £1.6m in the past 12 months.

The business, which has 12 staff at east Manchester’s Sharp Project and a further 180 in New Delhi, says it now plans to add a further six UK staff in the next six months.

SEO Next, which plans to open an office in Sydney in the coming months, is aiming for sales of £6m by 2014.

Justin Blackhurst set up the business with his brother Mark and university friend Vaibhav Kakkar in July 2009.

He said: “We’re absolutely thrilled with our progress over the last 12 months. To demonstrate growth on this scale, in what are some of the leanest times the global economy has experienced, is incredible.

“Just four years ago we were a bedroom operation. Now, we have a new base in one of the most talked about tech-hubs in Europe and are expanding into the southern hemisphere.”

The company says it has a roster of 150 clients. A profit figure was not given.
