A CHESHIRE care business has been sold in a buyout involving one of its partners buying out the other three.

A CHESHIRE care business has been sold in a buyout involving one of its partners buying out the other three.

Cornerstones, based in Warrington, provides specialist residential placements for young people with complex learning requirements, including diagnosis upon the autistic spectrum.

It has been trading since 2000 and runs a Department for Education- registered school for 18 pupils aged 7-19 and four residential homes also in Warrington with 19 places.

In a deal led and advised by North West accountants Cowgill Holloway, Cornerstones has been bought by Paul O’Leary throuhg a new vehicle, Bright Futures Care Ltd.

Despite the change in ownership, the Cornerstones name will be retained.

Ian Johnson, head of corporate finance at Cowgill Holloway said: “Healthcare is a sector that we are very active in and this is a very successful business which continues to provide a fantastic service to those who need it most.”
