LANCASHIRE law firm Marsden Rawsthorn has joined forces with Carnforth-based financial adviser Torquil Clark to launch a wealth management service.
The Preston and Chorley-based firm will provide investment, retirement, estate and protection planning for high net-worth individuals.
Janine Wilson, chartered financial planner at Marsden Rawsthorn Wealth Management, said: “We are very excited to launch this joint venture at a time when individuals are becoming more and more concerned about investments, pensions and protecting their estates.

DAVIS Blank Furniss, which has offices in Manchester and Glossop based law firm, has launched an online appointments booking service.
Called CLICK, it is mainly aimed at busy and time poor professionals.
Managing partner Kate Oldfield said: “Every day we are told by our clients that their time is being ever stretched and that like every other part of their lives, they want to have hassle free access to first class legal advice.
“More often than not, clients don’t want protracted conversations before meeting with a lawyer so CLICK has been created to overcome that.”

MANCHESTER law firm Ward Hadaway has advised on a Yorkshire land deal which aims to pave the way for a major housing development.
The firm has advised Barratt Homes and its subsidiary David Wilson Homes Yorkshire East on the acquisition of land at Finningley, near Doncaster in South Yorkshire.
The acquisition was made jointly with Taylor Wimpey and Peel Land and Property and is part of a framework agreement which Barratt
Homes made with Peel last year, on which Ward Hadaway also advised.
Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes aim to build 166 properties on the site over the next five years.
