CHESHIRE-based social housing investment trust Houses4Homes has appointed an experienced executive  Barry Ludlow , as the business prepares to deliver its first tranche of funding for social housing development.
 
Mr Ludlow, formerly a director at Taylor Wimpey North West and Miller Homes, has been appointed finance director – operations at the Congleton-based organisation.

Mr Ludlow will support H4H’s existing board members to deliver its unique funding solution which provides capital to local authorities, registered housing providers, developers and house builders in the social housing market.
 
Houses4Homes chief executive Phil Shanks said: “”As we begin to deliver on our promise to support local authorities and registered housing providers, it is essential to ensure proper financial controls are in place, and I’m delighted to have someone of Barry’s experience on the team.”

STOWE Family Law is to expand its North West operations with the addition of a second office in the Cheshire commuter belt.

The Yorkshire firm founded by leading divorce lawyer Marilyn Stowe is to open a Wilmslow office to add to its Altrincham operation.

Solicitor David Milburn has been promoted to managing partner for the Cheshire area, overseeing both offices.

He qualified in February 2003 and joined Stowe Family Law in 2010. He deals with cases relating to the breakdown of relationships and the division of matrimonial assets. He has represented footballers and other professional sportsmen and places a strong emphasis on excellent client care.

NORTH West law firm Linder Myers has appointed personal injury specialist John Greenall at its Chester office.

Mr Greenall joins from Roland Partnership Solicitors as an associate and has more than15 years’ experience specialising in road traffic accidents, criminal injuries and accidents at work.

Mark Howarth, managing partner and personal injury specialist at Linder Myers in Chester said: “John is a real asset to the business and joins us following our recent merger with Drummonds in October 2012. John’s appointment and the expansion of our range of services is part of our ambitious growth plans and investment in both Chester and wider North Wales region.”

LOFT Interiors, the Manchester property management furniture provider, has appointed John Coates as sales and project manager for its new Student Furniture arm.

Mr Coates, who lives in Southport, brings over 18 years’ experience  in the furnishings industry to the role. He is tasked with introducing the company to new prospects, projects and opportunities, as well as promoting the new division to existing clients.
