Appointments: Chowhan to chair law body, Bolsover to lead architects

RAKHI Chowhan, a personal injury associate at Linder Myers in Manchester, has been appointed chairman of the North West sub-committee of the Association of Asian Women Lawyers.

The association is a professional services networking and mentoring organisation with 350 members nationally.

Chowhan has been involved with it since 2011 and will have the remit of growing its membership in the North West to attract professionals from across the professional services sector.

She said: “The organisation provides a platform for professional women from across the professional services sector to network and benefit from mentoring from their peers.

“Membership is open to those from trainee level up to senior positions with a number of events planned for later in the year including ‘A Day in the Life of a Judge’ which will be held in September.”

SARAH Bolsover has been promoted to head the North West office of Saunders Parnership Architects.

She will lead an experienced team working with a number of high profile clients including Tesco, Waitrose, Barratt Homes, Crest Nicholson, Solum Regeneration, Land Securities and Manchester City Council.

“We already have a very strong reputation with a proven track record having been involved in some incredibly exciting projects across the North West including the 86,000 sq ft retail store as part of the Old Trafford Redevelopment and Blackley Library for Manchester City Council.  

“We are keen to build on the success of our business in the North West and ourSarah Bolsover, Saunders Partnership Architects move to Clarence House, which is situated in the hub of the city’s business district, will help us achieve this.”

Saunders Partnership Architects has also completed a deal with HIMOR Group to take 1,152 sq ft of ground floor office space at Clarence House on Clarence Street in the middle of Manchester.
