Lettings latest: Lexington Communications, Griffiths & Armour and more

LEXINGTON Communications, the public affairs and communications agency, has taken 2,100 sq ft on part of the first floor of Zenith House, in Manchester’s Spring Gardens.
It has agreed a five-year lease in a deal that follows AEW Architects’ relocation to the building.
Emma Powell of OBI Property advised the landlord, Henderson Global. She said: “We now have a new offering at The Zenith being able to offer suites from 1,600 sq ft. This has opened the doors to a new size of occupier seeking an impressive building with some of the best common areas and office space in the city. We could move quickly and we are delighted that Lexington are moving in.”
Nick Nelson of CBRE advised Lexington. He said: “Our client had a very fixed view on finding the right office space to provide an enhanced working environment to their staff. The Zenith building provided the ideal location and the high quality specification is exactly what Lexington were seeking.”
Rent prices on The Zenith range from £12.50 to £25.00 per sq ft.

SUPERMARKET group Iceland has signed up to the Central Retail Park in Bolton, acquiring the former Brantano unit.
The letting was handled by Riddelltps, acting for Zolfo Cooper, administrator of the park’s owner Trsotre Retail Park Ltd.
Riddelltps director Andy Crompton said: “Having let approximately 70,000 sq ft last year to B&M Bargains and Xercise4Less, this latest transaction further enhances the park’s retailing position in the town centre.
“Iceland will compliment the existing high quality tenants on the Park and with only one retail warehouse unit of around 5,000 sq ft remaining we are increasingly confident over the retail park’s future success.”
Pets at Home, Maplin and Carpetright also occupy units on Central Retail Park.
