Scientific instrument firm opens new HQ

SCIENTIFIC instrument manufacturer Hiden Isochema has opened a new 15,000 sq ft facility in Warrington.

It will house its headquarters, laboratories and a manufacturing unit.

Hiden now has two facilities at Gemini Business Park where it plans further expansion.

It has been based in Warrington since sister-company Hiden Analytical was founded in 1981. The business exports around 90% of its products to customers in universities and research, development and process industries around the world.

Chairman Ian Neale said: “The new Hiden Isochema headquarters is a fantastic asset and we look forward to welcoming our customers from all over the world to Warrington.”

Steve Park, managing director, of the economic development body Warrington & Co said: “Working with companies such as Hiden Isochema is a key part of the work we do at Warrington & Co. Not only are we working hard with our partners to attract new businesses to Warrington but it is also very important we work closely with firms based here to make sure we meet their needs for office space here instead of them leaving the town.”

The new facility was designed and built by Warrington-based contractor Williams Tarr Group.
