60 jobs go as Robinson Willey fails

ALL 60 staff have been made redundant at Liverpool gas fire manufacturer Robinson Willey after it went into administration.

Administrators Paul Stanley and Gary Lee of the accountancy firm Begbies Traynor blamed cash constraints and a diminishing order book.

Mr Lee said: “The summer months were traditionally quiet for this company but this time it wasn’t able to trade through it. We are now seeking buyers for both the business and all its assets.”

The company was due to have its annual summer shut down during the first two weeks of August. Administrators were appointed to the Bootle-based company on July 26.
