Bowcock leaves Carole Nash

DAVE Bowcock, the long-serving sales and operations director at Altrincham-based insurance firm Carole Nash, has stepped down from the company.
Mr Bowcock, who has been with the firm for 14 years, resigned from the company earlier this week according to documents filed at Companies House.
A spokesman for the company said: “Dave Bowcock has decided that after 14 years with the business it’s time to move on to a new challenge. During his time with us he has helped to build the business and we wish him well for the future.”
Carole Nash Insurance Consultants was set up by its eponymous founder on her kitchen table in 1985 and specialised in providing bike insurance.
Mrs Nash sold the business to French insurance giant Groupama in a deal reported to be worth more than £80m in 2006. Last year, the company reported a pre-tax profit of £6.2m on income of £24.2m.
