Administrators seek £2.25m for Klarius site

ADMINISTRATORS at KPMG who are handling the failed car parts business Klarius, are hoping to raise £2.25m from the sale of the group’s premises in Staffordshire.
The 223,089 sq ft property on the Brookhouses Industrial Estate in Cheadle was home to the emissions division which was bought by a management team for £700,000 and renamed Klarius Products.
Klarius Products has a three-year lease on the property.
John Goodchild, senior surveyor, at property agent Sanderson Weatherall in Manchester has been appointed to sell the building. He said: “We look forward to disposing of this industrial investment which offers the prospect of rental growth and exposure to a growing company.”
Klarius and group company Quinton Hazell failed with total debts of £72m in February.
