Funding talks continue for 2ergo

SALFORD mobile app developer 2ergo has told investors it hopes to conclude a financing deal by mid May.

In a brief statement to the stock market it said funding negotiations continue with, “different options being considered”.

It added: “However, no further assurance can be given on the future of the group until it is able to ascertain the quantum and terms of funding available.”

The company’s main product is the Podifi offers service podifi offers service which allows customers on any mobile network to redeem local discounts and promotional offers using their phones.

Once the app is downloaded users can redeem offers by tapping the phone over a specially installed ‘podifi pod’, connected to the till.

New client wins include an unnamed Premier League football club and catering business the Compass Group, which is installing the technology at Bournemouth University, Deeside College and its training centre at Heathrow.
