MCC Accountants sets out growth plan

A SMALL North West firm of accountants plans to more double its client numbers and hire more staff.

MCC Accountants of Ecckes, Salford, has just added a third person to its team, experienced bookkeeper, Susan Stephens, and is set to grow more over the next couple of years.

Set up by managing director Mish Liyanage in 2009 MCC has grown its client base from 15 to more than 70 in the last four years.

Ms Stephens who has held a number of senior financial positions in companies such as the Renaissance Manchester Hotel, Miller Fisher Limited and M&W Freight will work alongside Mr Liyanage and senior accountant Robert Flint.

Mr Flint said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Susan to the company and are confident that her vast range of skills and experience will help us in progressing MCC to the next level.  

“We have a very strong vision and future strategy, anticipating the addition of auditing, business consultancy and outsourcing to our portfolio of services and increasing client numbers to 150 by the end of 2014.”

MCC hopes to hire a further two employees in the next 12 months in line with its expected growth.
