Patoff snaps up storage tank maker Fenelon

MANCHESTER entrepreneur Jonny Patoff has acquired a £10m turnover manufacturing business based in Ellesmere Port – the first deal completed by new commercial law firm Freeman Fisher.
The purchase of Fenelon Storage Tanks which employs around 60 people, is not Mr Patoff’s first in the storage tank sector – as he also owns High Peak firm JS Burgess Engineering.
Founded in 2004, Fenelon is a market leading specialist in storage tank design, manufacture, construction and maintenance primarily to the oil and gas sectors.
The company has sites in Linconshire and Longford, Ireland, as well as its head office on the North Road Industrial Estate.
Freeman Fisher corporate partner Gary Black said: “I am delighted to have completed our first deal so soon after our launch, having first acted for Jonny some 10 years ago.”
The vendors, led by Roy Sandes, were advised by Steven Gordon of SMG Corporate Finance and Gary Jones, corporate partner at Weightmans in Liverpool.
