Man Utd Thais-up True partnership

MANCHESTER United has announced a regional partnership with Thailand-based telecoms company True Corporation.

The undisclosed three-year deal will see True Group and the Reds workign together across a number of areas. Telecom network TrueMove H will become Manchester United’s official mobile partner for Thailand and TrueVisions, True Group’s pay TV operator will be the official MUTV broadcaster for Thailand.

In addition to this, True will also become an official associate match sponsor for the Bangkok leg of the club’s tour in the next few weeks.

Established in 1990, True Corporation has more than 27 million customers.

Manchester United managing director, Richard Arnold said: “Since forming in 1990 it has continued to grow with the fast paced telecommunications industry to become one of the best in its territory, proudly being the first to embrace many new technologies.

“Our new partnership is set to follow suit and provide our 20 million loyal and passionate Thai followers with exclusive content and footage.”
