A NEW player in the Lancashire legal scene has been launched in Burnley.

A NEW player in the Lancashire legal scene has been launched in Burnley.

Backed by Yorkshire Bank, Maysons Solicitors has opened on Manchester Road in the town.

The firm has been set up by Paul Mayson and Suzanne Greenhalgh, formerly with Burnley firm Donald, Race & Newton Solicitors.

Maysons will offer advice on employment law, commercial and civil litigation, personal injury and medical negligence cases.

Yorkshire Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre in Blackburn, provided advice on setting up the new business and helped fund the acquisition of the new premises.

Founder Paul Mayson said: “We had both been in practice in Burnley and Pendle for the past 15 years and we decided we wanted to set up by ourselves and offer a different approach and focus on customer service by adopting quality systems and standards.

“It has been a busy but exciting start and our aim now is to maintain this momentum and increase our client base and develop the services we offer.”

Mr Mayson is a former managing partner at Donald, Race & Newton, where he worked for 15 years.
