Charity promises to help women into work

AN international charity that helps women get back into work has launched in Manchester.

Dress for Success provides coaching and clothes for interviews.

It is part of Dress for Success Worldwide, founded in 1996 by Nancy Lubin to improve the lives of women.

It now operates in more than 130 cities across 13 countries. The Manchester branch was set up by Anna-Louise Gilhooley.

She said: “We help style and professionally guide women returning to employment. Our team give women the confidence to follow their own path to succeed and thrive in work and life.

“We will dress more than 1,000 women a year in high quality clothes donated by retailers and professionals. A visit to Dress for Success Manchester can change the course of a woman’s life.”
