Atlantic Chambers joins consortium

BARRISTERS’ set Atlantic Chambers has been appointed to the North West Legal Consortium.
Liverpool-based Atlantic is one of s number of regional chambers and law firms to have successfully bid to provide legal services to North West local authorities under the new procurement exercise.
The consortium is made up of 25 local authorities, a passenger transport executive and Merseyside Police Authority.
The multi-million pound tender for legal services was set up in 2006 and is led by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council.
It is the first time in local government that barristers and solicitors have both been chosen in the same procurement exercise to work across 11 legal panels and 14 barrister panels.
