The deal with Kent-based Lister InfraServ will give it a 15-office network throughout England.

Fisher German is headquartered in Leicestershire but has offices in St Helens, Chester and Knutsford.

The merger brings Lister InfraServ’s principle director Giles Lister into the Fisher German Partnership and he will continue to run a new post-merger office in Kent. Lister InfraServ specialises in delivering land agency services to the utilities and infrastructure sector.

Fisher German managing partner Andrew Jackson said: “The merger was a natural progression of existing working relationships. Our ambition for Fisher German is to double in growth by 2020, this is one step forward to taking us there.

“We already have a fantastic working relationship with the team at Lister InfraServ and we are looking forward to building on those relationships as we work towards a bright future for Fisher German. We have every expectation that we will see an increased work flow as a result of the merger, particularly in the south east of England.

“An office in Kent opens up the potential for further work in the utilities and infrastructure sector and gives us a foothold in the Home Counties that feeds the London conurbation. It also enables us to better service firms currently some distance from our existing base.”
