JB Leitch buys Liverpool office block

LIVERPOOL law firm JB Leitch has acquired an office building at 10 Duke Street for £2.1m.
It has moved into part of the 29,376 sq ft building which is also home to Henshaw Society for the Blind, the Liverpool Housing Trust and AEDAS Architects.
The property produces a gross income of £233,090 a year and 12,000 sq ft is vacant.
It was sold by Law of Property Act receiver GVA which was appointed to the building after its owner, Beetham Developments, went into administration two years ago.
GVA said JB Leitch outbid a number of local and national property investors to secure the property which will become its new headquarters.
Hitchcock Wright advised JB Leitch.
