PLS Solicitors enjoying growth spurt

LAW firm, PLS Solicitors is targeting expansion with a new headquarters and 10 new hires as it enjoys a growth spurt.
Founded in 2008 by two ambitious property lawyers, Robert Thomas, then with Eversheds and Aashim Dhand previously with Pannone, Hale-based PLS has grown to 35 staff since then.
Originally specialised in conveyancing and commercial property, it now offers litigation, insolvency, employment and general commercial advice.
PLS now has a turnover of around £3m, and is recruiting for a further 10 staff.
The firm recently outgrew it’s offices on Bloomfield Lane, and expanded into a neighbouring property. To allow for further growth, the firm’s managment team of Mr Dhand, Mr Thomas and directors Glyn Baker and Adam Pavey are looking for new premises in south Manchester.
Mr Pavey said: “The legal industry is in a great deal of flux but while we have seen late adapters to change disappearing from the sector, it provides more well organised firms like ours to maximise opportunities available.
“Over the past five years we have grown significantly and built up a great reputation for our work and our plans for expansion are a continuation of our existing growth strategy, allowing us to evolve our offering to our clients. We’re also looking to make more lateral hires in the next 12 months which will help bring more client relationships to the firm while widening our expertise.
“We have made significant investment in both our staff and facilities over recent years, believing that by recruiting quality people that compliment our existing expertise we can ensure that our clients are getting the best possible advice for all legal matters.”
