Revenues climb at software developer Godel

MANCHESTER software developer Godel Technologies Europe saw revenues grow by 20% last year.

The company which has around 110 developers based in Minsk, Belarus, carries out software contracts for large groups such as Tesco, The Co-operative and Morson Group.

It saw revenues grow from £2m to £2.4m in the year to the end of December and is aiming for sales of £5m by 2015. It did not disclose its profit figure.

Chief executive Neil Turvin said: “It’s been another outstanding year for trading at GodelTech as we continue our strategy of growth and investing back into the business – we’ve seen no let-up in demand at all.

“We’ve invested significantly in our second software development centre in Belarus which is helping us manage the demand for our nearshore software development services from many high profile clients as well as doubling employee numbers in the UK in sales and marketing as well as in recruitment and HR.”

The business has 10 staff at its headquarters at Manchester Science Park.
