IT giant’s networking portal built by Manchester firm

MANCHESTER-based web agency CTI Support Network (CTISN) has created the first comprehensive business and product information portal for users of financial software giant Oracle.

The network, which was commissioned by Cheshire IT media and marketing company Mere BIS, offers users access to forums, blogs and new pages as well as information on events, seminars, training course and jobs.

A library and virtual exhibitions are amongst other features that help complete the package.

Paul Kavanagh, of Mere BIS said: “Until now similar sites have offered a number of services, but none has incorporated all the features of OracleLink.com in one place.”

“We already have other similar projects underway. By combining the traditionally successful elements of social networks with the comprehensive facilities demanded by an active business community, we provide everything you need to know about your chosen profession or group all in one location.”

Nick Rhind managing director of CTI Support Network, said: “Community-based portals and industry specific social networking sites will increase in importance as businesses recognise their value. It is just a matter of time.”
