Kelway takes eighth floor at The Peninsula

KELWAY, the IT business which has acquired Equanet from Dixons Group, is opening a regional base in Manchester city centre.
In what is said to bee the largest Grade A office letting in the region so far this year, Kelway was signed a deal for occupy the eighth floor – 11,778 sq ft, at The Peninsula.
Property owner, and principal occupier Peninsula Business Services, was advised by DTZ.
Kelway, which already has a site in Runcorn, acquired Bury-based IT reseller Equanet earlier this year.
It joins other occupiers already located in the building, near Victortia Station such as Peninsula Business Services and Laterooms. The letting to Kelway means that only the 7th floor of 11,748 sq ft remains vacant.
Rob Yates, office agency director at DTZ said: “The Peninsula is one of the best of Manchester’s recent developments. The quality of the accommodation, usability of floorplate and its high profile location all appeal to a number of occupiers who are finding the supply of quality accommodation in Manchester city centre limited due to the lack of new development.”
“There is considerable interest in the remaining floor and we anticipate announcing a further letting in the near future. The supply of Grade A accommodation offering large floor plates is becoming constrained.”
