Omega Sky moves to Manor Court

A LANCASHIRE start-up which runs a website selling wall murals and wallpaper featuring iconic film and TV scenes has moved to the Manor Court office complex in Ribchester, near Blackburn.
Omega Sky, which trades as wallsauce.com, said the 1,500 sq ft office will give it room to expand to around 15 full and part-time staff.
Manor Court, served by a 100mb fibre optic cable, is owned by Colin Mustoe, the founder and chairman of Altham-based office furniture group Senator International.
Omega Sky was founded last year by Colin Watson, Tony Fairhurst and Andy Gerraty. Last month it raised a six-figure sum from private investors including former Grant Thornton North West managing partner David Grundy.
Mr Fairhurst, managing director, said: “The move to Manor Court is, in many ways, a natural progression as we seek to roll out our business model to a worldwide audience. It allows us to seriously ramp up our internal skill base and we envisage a number of key appointments over the coming months.
“And crucially the location allows us to manipulate huge images provided by our licensing partners at the fastest possible speeds. This is already paying huge dividends.”
