MANCHESTER PR agency Beattie Communications has picked up two new briefs to provide PR services for children’s toy and gaming brands.  

The agency, which has a specialist children’s marketing division, has been appointed to promote a range of gaming accessories for KidzPLAY, a PlayStation3 accessories developer.

Beattie will launch the series of PS3 controllers to the press and bloggers as well as through social media and online channels.

The team has also picked up an on-going project from licensed brand Punky Princess, which has ranges stocked by the likes of Smyth Toys and Shop Direct Group. The agency is to raise the brand’s profile with young girls and with the trade press.

THE Manchester-based if agency lhas rebranded tableware specialist Kevin Glancy.

The if team was briefed to create a brand as well as advertising, a website and supporting marketing material.

TESCO has appointed Manchester brand agency Mason Williams to work on its Mum Of The Year Awards 2014.

The agency was re-signed following a creative presentation for the campaign, which seeks to find and honour mums from around the county who have given something back to their communities.

The 2013 Awards were held in March at The Savoy, London, at a lunch with ambassador Denise Van Outen, celebrity Mum of the Year Melanie C and judges Cherry Healey and Emma Forbes.
