Boost Juice hopes for more Trafford Centre success

BOOST Juice Bars is opening a second outlet at the Trafford Centre as it begins its roll-out plan.

The Cheshire company, which last year secured £2.5m from the Business Growth Fund to fuel growth from 10 sites to 40 over the next three years , opened its first unit at the Trafford Centre in 2007.

The juice and smoothie concept – brought to the UK by Millies Cookies entrepreneur Richard O’Sullivan from Australia – has been a big hit with shopppers at the Trafford Centre, and the existing unit has consistently been one of the best performing of any Boost Juice in the world.

The new store opens next month and is located near Marks & Spencer on Peel Avenue, – the opposite end to the exisiting unit.

Since launching Boost in 2007, Richard O’Sullivan and his wife Dawn have opened 13 stores nationwide. The roll-out plan will see the company hit 20 sites over the next few months.

Dawn O’Sullivan, said: “The popularity of our existing Trafford Centre store is growing all the time. It’s incredibly busy and we simply need to ensure that we’re able to cater for the increasing demand from the Boost fans.”

Richard O’Sullivan, added: “Seven years after Boost first launched in the Trafford Centre it’s still one of the top three, out of nearly 300 Boost stores, across 16 countries.

“The demand for Boost continues to go from strength to strength.”

Boost provides a healthy alternative to soft drinks, on-the-go meals and sweets. It was founded in Adelaide by Janine Allis in 2003 and has nearly 200 sites throughout Australia alone. It operates in more than 20 countries including South Africa, Chile, Estonia, Germany, Kuwait, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, China and Russia.
