NCC appoints new director

IT security and services business NCC Group has appointed the managing director of the RAC as a non-executive director.

Debbie Hewitt has joined the board of the Manchester-based IT group after her recent departure from the breakdown recovery group where she was managing director from May 2006.

She is also a non-executive director of support services group Mouchel, nightclub operator Luminar and appliciance warranties provider Domestic and General Group as well as the Office of Government Commerce which oversees the Government’s purchasing budget and reports to the Treasury.

She has an MBA with distinction from the University of Bath and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.

NCC Group chief executive Rob Cotton said: “I am delighted that Debbie is joining the board. I am sure that her wide business experience will contribute to the success of the group.”

NCC held its AGM yesterday where all resolutions were passed.
