SSEM launches in Runcorn

LAND remediation group Sirius is launching a new division to provide niche services to help in the regeneration of contaminated sites.
Based in Runcorn, Sirius Strategic Environmental Management (SSEM) will offer strategic risk and ecological assessments as well as residential site investigations in a move to increase the group’s offering.
The team at SSEM will include Professor Phil Morgan, Dr Genevieve Boshoff and director Richard Thurgood who have a wealth of experience in tackling complex contaminated site issues.
Richard said: “We aim to provide our clients with a fully comprehensive service by melding a number of specialist niche services with the normal approach to ensure the most effective management and regeneration of contaminated sites.”
The Sirius Group, which is headquartered in Durham, employs 100 people.
